Due to overwhelming interest in advertising, the Newburyport Mothers Club reserves the right to stop accepting ads prior to the April 1st deadline!***

Thank you for your interest in advertising in the Newburyport Mothers Club newsletter.

The NMC publishes 10 newsletters per year; monthly with combined issues for Dec/Jan and July/August.  Our current membership is more than 600 families with young children. About half of our members are from Newburyport and the rest live in the surrounding communities.  We hope that by advertising with us you'll be able to introduce your business to our members.

Please note, we only accept electronic submissions of ad media.

Payment is due in full upon ad placement. You will pay online via PayPal with our new and improved "Shopping Cart"

Make sure to fill in your Company name, your name and valid email address.

Ad Submission Deadlines & Payment information: The deadline for submission of advertisements and payment is the first of the month prior to the publication date. (Example: January 1 for the February edition and February 1 for the March edition)

PAYMENT: Payment is due IN FULL when submitting ad copy. ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE ELECTRONICALLY through our site. We do not accept cash or checks. Payment must be made IN FULL by the appropriate deadline before any ad will run in the newsletter.

IMAGES: You will be prompted to upload ad copy AFTER checking out via PayPal.  If you do not upload ad copy after paying for your ad, you are responsible for sending an ELECTRONIC IMAGE FILE of their ads to the NMC Ad Manager (NMC_Advertising@yahoo.com) before the deadline for each month.  Please see below or attached for full technical specifications!

DISCOUNTS: NMC members receive a 10% discount on ad rates.  To receive this discount, you must obtain the Coupon Code by sending an email to NMC_Advertising@yahoo.com.  If you purchase 5-9 ad placements you receive a 10% discount, and if you purchase 10+ placements you receive a 15% discount. Our system automatically calculates these discounts.  Please note only one discount applies.    

If contract holders wish to be green and opt out of their hard-copy of the newsletter, please our contact Ad Manager at NMC_Advertising@yahoo.com.

Advertisement Format Guidelines:

  • Acceptable file formats are JPEG or PDF files only.
  • PDFs are preferred. The original file that the PDF is created from must be a minimum of 300 dpi (600 dpi is preferred). 
  • Any JPEGs must be a minimum of 600 dpi.
  • Any scanned images must be scanned at a minimum of 300 dpi if scanning to a PDF, and a minimum of 600 dpi, if scanning to a JPEG. 
  • We cannot accept Word or text documents.
  • All files must be black and white. We cannot print or alter color files.
  • Any alterations to an existing ad will require a new ad file to be sent to the Ad Manager.
  • The Ad owner has 100% responsibility for submitting the Ad copy to the NMC (nmc_advertising@yahoo.com) by the required deadline.

If you fail to submit your ad, in an appropriate format, by the deadline -- regardless of payment status there will be NO refunds or credits after payment is made.
