The YWCA Greater Newburyport is a membership organization dedicated to transforming the lives of women and their families in the Greater Newburyport community. For 125 years, the YWCA Greater Newburyport has been a strong community leader promoting wellness, supporting families, developing leaders, and advocating for equality and justice. Our programs, which include affordable housing for women and families, after-school childcare, camps, aquatic and fitness programs, racial justice events, financial literacy activities, breast and cervical cancer outreach and education, and leadership opportunities for teens and young adults, have all been fostered by a caring and passionate commitment to eliminating racism and empowering women.

The YWCA re-opened in June 2008 with a brand new 4-lane lap pool, warm water pool, sauna, men's, women's and family locker rooms, renovated fitness space and childcare space and group exercise studio. For information about programs and membership visit www.ywcanewburyport.org
