Cheryl Potvin

I am currently a stay-at-home mom to our twin girls, Julia and Andrea, who are about to turn 5 years old. Before kids, I worked at a financial software company where I met my husband, Dan, in Boston. We moved to Newburyport after getting married to be closer to the ocean and the mountains, like many other families we meet in Newburyport. We enjoy taking advantage of the beautiful area in which we live: bike-riding the new Rail Trail, kayaking off Plum Island, skiing at Bradford or snowshoeing through Maudslay. This is my second year on the board as a Kids’ Outing Coordinator. I have enjoyed planning events over the past year and all of the people we have met in the process. I look forward to planning more events in 2010 that help people enjoy investigating the area and finding new places to play and explore with their families.
