Mimmi Roy

My name is Mimmi Roy and I have been a member of the NMC for four years. This is my third year on the NMC Board. My husband grew up in Newburyport, and I grew up in Sweden. I met Chris in 2005, and we got married in Sweden August 2007. We now live in Byfield. We have a daughter, born in 2008. I am also a step-mom to Chris's children, ages 11 and 9, who live with us full-time. Our family also includes our loving dogs Bruno, Harley, and Sally. I love spending my weekends at the barn riding and at home with my husband and children. I was born in Sweden and have all my family there except from my brother, who lives with his wife and daughter in Baltimore, MD. I love to visit my family in Sweden, and we try to go there at least 2-3 times a year. It is very important to me my daughter is brought up with both the Swedish and American culture and language.
